Admin Services Coordinator - Cardiothoracic Surgery
The Cardiothoracic Surgery Department is seeking an Administrative Services Coordinator (ASC) to function as administrative support to the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery faculty members.¿Primary duties include supporting operations, OR scheduling, planning activities, and ensuring timely flow of information to and from faculty to internal and external colleagues and constituents.

The Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics is seeking to fill a faculty position at the rank of Instructor within the Division of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery. This position offers the opportunity for advanced clinical training and academic development in the subspecialty of pediatric cardiac surgery. The Instructor will function as an early-career faculty member and will participate in clinical care, education, and scholarly activities.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an early-career faculty member with full attending responsibilities under supervision.
- Participate in the clinical care of pediatric cardiac surgery patients.
- Engage in teaching activities involving medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Complete at least one academic or research project during the term of appointment.
